Canada's Tree-filled Communities are Good for your Health

February 17, 2015

Even Canada's large cities, like Ottawa and Victoria, are renowned for their green spaces.  Of course, Canada's small towns look like they have been carved right out of the forest.  Visit places like Squamish or Quesnel, British Columbia and you get a sense of the immense amount of forest that still exists across Canada.

Check out Michelle Schoffro Cook's great article on the healing power of trees in communities with dense populations of trees.  They are Nature's depression fighters.

It's no wonder Canadians are a happy bunch!
