Canadian Cities Rate High in New Quality of Living Survey

The Mercer 2015 Quality of Living rankings identified Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto as the top North American cities based on Mercer’s quality of living criteria.  Mercer is an international consultancy focused on talent, health, retirement and investments. It helps multinational companies and other employers compensate employees fairly when placing them on international assignments.

The survey ranked 230 cities around the world, with Vienna topping the list. Vancouver, British Columbia ranked fifth globally, while the Ontario cities of Toronto and Ottawa ranked 15th and 16th respectively.  San Francisco was the highest ranking American city (27th).
